Who we are

TerraZip Inc is a Wyoming profit corporation. This notice covers the TerraZip Field Guides site at guide.terrazip.org. The separate TerraZip corporate site has its own privacy notice.

Information we receive

• Standard hosting and security logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, time, and security events.
• Your advertising measurement choice, stored only in your browser as granted or denied.
• A session marker that prevents the same guide view from being measured more than once in a browser session.
• Information you choose to send by email, including your email address and message.

OpenAI Ads measurement

The site prepares the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel with measurement consent set to false. If you select “Allow measurement,” the Pixel may use the ad referral identifier, local browser storage, and a page-view event to attribute the visit to a ChatGPT ad. TerraZip sends the standardpage_viewed event with personalization opt-out enabled.

TerraZip does not pass your name, email address, customer identifier, postal address, or purchase information to the Pixel. Declining measurement does not block the guide or its external product links. You can reopen the choice panel from “Privacy choices” in the footer.

Affiliate and retailer links

A marked product link is not loaded automatically. If you click one, you leave TerraZip and the destination retailer and Wayward may receive the referral URL, click time, device or browser information, network address, product identifier, and their own tracking identifiers. Their privacy notices and settings govern that processing.

How we use and share information

We use information to deliver and secure the site, remember your privacy choice, measure advertising when permitted, respond to messages, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. We may share information with hosting, security, communications, and measurement providers only as needed for those functions, or when required by law.

TerraZip does not sell personal information. TerraZip does not send purchase data to OpenAI from this guide.

Retention, security, and international processing

Browser choices remain until you clear them or change your selection. Hosting logs and email records are retained only as reasonably necessary for operations, security, communication, and legal obligations. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may decline advertising measurement and still use the site. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal. Contact hello@terrazip.org. We may need to verify a request.

Children and changes

This site is intended for a general adult shopping audience and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this notice as the site, providers, or law changes; the effective date shows the latest revision.
